UPDATE: We can't keep up with Ed Sheeran. The redheaded singer posted yet another photo on Instagram Thursday that revealed he does have a lion tattooo his chest! Apparently he was covering it up for an appearance on a TV show.

That giant lion Ed Sheeran had tattooed onto his chest? Not real.
The "Don't" crooner took to Instagram Wednesday morning to reveal that his chest is completely bare—not a lion in sight! "Was only joking about the lion," he captioned the pic.
It's unclear why Sheeran decided to play this joke on his fans, but when the man wants to prank people he definitely goes all the way. Not only did he tease that there would be more to the lion than he already had "tatted," he also got his go-to tattoo artist in on the joke. Kevin Paul, the man behind "most of Ed's artwork," even told E! News, "The piece as it stands took about six hours to do but there is still about six hours left to complete the tattoo."
Sheeran explained to the BBC that he wanted to honor his selling out Wembley Stadium three nights in a row. The original idea was to have the stadium's floor plan inked on his chest but at the last minute changed to the Mufasa-style tattoo, which is the logo of the English National Team.
